Could anti-CO2 measures kill people?

The debate about anthropogenic (man-made or human-caused) global warming continues. But we need to be careful to avoid inflammatory statements, based on opinion or speculation, and stick to science and research-based facts. For some time now: speculation by allegedly credentialed people misrepresented as expertise.

If we can get over the hurdle of sticking to the facts, then we have to ask ourselves what the ramifications of certain approaches to the "problem" might be. Here is a two part article on the topic of how CO2 control measures may cause billions of human deaths...it is worth a read.

Is NASA cooking the books on climate data?

In a recent admission by NASA, some of the climate data used to promote the "man made global warming" hypothesis was fabricated. This is a sad day for scientific integrity. More info can be found here.

Artificial Gravity Possible???

To live in space we all know that we would do better with "gravity." Since we can't just "make gravity", we would have to simulate it (by spinning the space station). By adjusting the radius and speed of the station, you can make the simulated gravity be any value you want.

Until now, that is the only way to simulate gravity...but European scientists may have stumbled on to another way to "make gravity." Read more here...

So it is finally starting to come out that some of the man-made global climate change arguments were falsified for political reasons. This is sad, and a poignant reminder of the importance of unbiased and scientific thinking based on real research and real data...read more here.

It is a sad day when scientific truth is covered up in order that the ideologies of some may be promoted. Al Gore's record as a politician can stand on its own merits. However, as a scientist, he is not quite all there. Let's let the scientific data stand on it's own.

New debates have begun regarding techniques and technologies that might allow mankind to manipulate global climate patterns. Global warming???

The debate about global warming is still just that. Last month we learned that the Australians completed a 30 year study of the west side of Antarctica and found the ice GROWING, not receding!?! Now, the Argentinians report glacial growth as well!

Well, school is out for the summer, but that doesn't mean that your scientific investigations should end. I suggest you choose a topic that interested you in science class (global warming, green energy sources, auto safety technology, quasars, etc...) and do some research over the summer. Betelgeuse is shrinking!?!

Astronomers believe that Betelgeuse is shrinking. This could mean that it is about to supernova (explode). In the 1800's there was a supernova recorded that was so bright that it was visible in broad daylight for 3 days! For more information, click here.
